NTSB Reveals Pictures from Herbert Wigwe’s Fatal Helicopter Crash

The United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has unveiled images from the aftermath of the helicopter crash involving Access Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, and several others.

The ill-fated Airbus EC130 helicopter went down near the California-Nevada border close to Halloran Springs, resulting in the tragic deaths of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

NTSB investigators were depicted in the released images meticulously sifting through the wreckage at the crash site. Michael Graham, a board member with the NTSB, provided an update on the investigation, highlighting activities undertaken on the initial day of the inquiry.

The investigative procedures included aerial drone mapping, comprehensive site documentation, and a thorough examination of the debris field by the airworthiness group. Spanning approximately 100 yards, the debris field encompassed crucial components of the helicopter, such as rotor blades, transmission, engine, tail rotor, landing gear skids, and various avionics components.
