Northern Elders, Afenifere, Ohaneze, Middle Belt and Niger-Delta Leaders Endorse Atiku

The Presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar on Sunday bagged the endorsements of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Middle Belt Forum and the Afenifere.
At a joint meeting of the groups at the Ladi Kwali hall of the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja tagged, “Summit of Nigerian Leaders and Elders”,the groups said they arrived at the decision to back Atiku based on the quality of his programmes. They said the former vice president is better prepared to lead the country more than President Muhammadu Buhari whom they accused of dividing the country along ethnic lines.
In attendance at the meeting were: Ayo Fasanmi (Afenifere), Dr Pogu Bitrus (Middle Belt Forum), Ango Abdullahi (Northern Elders Forum), Edwin Clark (Pan Niger Delta Forum), John Nwodo (Ohanaeze Ndigbo) and Buba Galadimma.
The leaders said Buhari has lost control of his government.
