NNPC Opens Applications for Graduate Trainee Programme

The Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has announced the commencement of its graduate trainee programme, inviting qualified candidates to apply.

 

In a post on X on Friday, the NNPC revealed this recruitment opportunity, urging individuals eager to build a career within the company to visit their website for application details.

Graduate trainees will be tasked with supporting the implementation of organizational processes, delivering cost-effective business outcomes, aiding line managers and supervisors in strategic planning, and contributing to project team assignments.

 

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in First Class/Second Class Upper Division
  • HND (Distinction)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Second Class Lower Division with a completed Master’s Degree
  • HND Upper Credit with a completed Master’s Degree

Candidates should have graduated from an accredited institution no earlier than 2019, completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, and be no older than 28 years as of December 31, 2024. Additionally, they must possess strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.

 

The required disciplines include sciences, engineering, business and management, social sciences, art and humanities, and law.

 

NNPC also announced openings for experienced professionals to be recruited into the supervisory cadre. These professionals are expected to provide leadership and expertise to help achieve the company’s business goals.

 

Qualified candidates will assist in developing and implementing strategies for operational excellence, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance with regulations, and driving team performance.

 

The qualifications for experienced professionals are as follows:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in First Class/Second Class Upper Division
  • HND (Distinction)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Second Class Lower Division with a completed Master’s Degree
  • HND (Minimum of Upper Credit) with a completed Master’s Degree

The required disciplines include geosciences, petroleum engineering, well engineering, general engineering, operations engineering, commercial, finance, accounts, audit, taxation and insurance, information technology, legal, and security.

 

The application deadline is August 20, 2024.
