Nigerian Man Shot Dead in Brazil
The family of Felix Echezona, a Nigerian man who was shot and killed in Brazil, has announced his burial arrangements. Echezona was reportedly shot dead in Rio de Janeiro on January 12, 2025. Following the tragic incident, his body was repatriated to Nigeria and is currently at the Bishop Shanahan Hospital mortuary in Nsukka.
He will be laid to rest in his hometown, Umuida community in Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. A Requiem Mass will be held in his honour at St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, Umuoshene, Umuida, on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
