Nigerian Man Arrested for Attempting to Meet Minor for Sex in UK
A Nigerian man has been apprehended in the United Kingdom after allegedly attempting to meet a minor he had solicited for sex online. A video circulating on social media shows the moment security agents accosted the suspect as he waited at the location where he had arranged to meet the girl.
According to reports, he had initiated contact with the minor through an online platform and, during the course of their conversation, solicited sexual activity. His actions were reportedly being monitored by security personnel who moved in and arrested him at the designated meeting point. Upon being confronted, the visibly startled man addressed the agents with the words, “My darling.” The suspect, who claimed to be legally residing in the UK and employed in the care of the elderly, admitted during questioning that he had been communicating with minors for the past three months.
Authorities have stated that, if found guilty, he could face a sentence ranging from 10 years to life imprisonment.
