Newly Appointed Nasarawa High Court Judge Tanze Makama Passes Away Two Months After Appointment
Justice Tanze Benjamin Makama, recently appointed to the High Court of Justice in Nasarawa State, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2024.
Having received the appointment on December 29, 2023, Justice Makama’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the legal community. Nuhu J. Egya, Chairman of the Keffi branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), conveyed heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, Chief Judge Justice Aisha Bashir-Aliyu, and the entire judiciary.
The late judge, who previously served as the chairman of the Lafia branch of the NBA, had been silently battling an undisclosed ailment. The legal fraternity mourns the loss of a respected and dedicated member, leaving a void in the Nasarawa State High Court of Justice.
