Ned Nwoko’s Wives Laila Charani, Regina Daniels Clash on Instagram Over Drugs and Alleged Lesbian Affairs
Ned Nwoko’s wives, Laila Charani and Regina Daniels, have engaged in a heated exchange on Instagram, escalating the ongoing family drama surrounding the politician and Nollywood star. The feud comes months after a viral video in October showed Daniels in tears, accusing Nwoko of domestic violence. Nwoko responded by alleging that Daniels struggled with drug and alcohol abuse, a claim she later admitted but said was part of a pattern of control.
Laila Charani directly addressed the controversy in a long Instagram post, insisting that the conflict stems from Nwoko’s intolerance of certain behaviors. “You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs,” she wrote. She added, “The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction. It has always been a serious matter for him, as he neither smokes nor drinks himself.”
She also accused Daniels of influencing others negatively, saying, “You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family, giving drugs to nannies and our workers including your younger sister Destiny.” Laila claimed Daniels engaged in inappropriate relationships with women in the family and close circle, writing, “You infected everyone with your virus and this is why I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised, especially when I found out that you were sleeping with every single girl around you.” She concluded with a call for rehabilitation and discretion, stating, “Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this. I say this not out of anger, but from a place of truth and concern for the level of lies that you are peddling for reasons that are known to you alone.”
Daniels responded in her own Instagram post, dismissing Laila’s claims as “useless and hurtful” and defending her role as a mother. She addressed the allegations of lesbian relationships with a mix of sarcasm and defiance: “How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?” She also warned Nwoko to protect their children, saying, “First off! Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say. I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring… Ned better protect my kids! Their foundation is the ultimate and do not use them to weaken me!”
