“Ned Nwoko Has Filed for Full Custody of My Children” — Regina Daniels
Regina Daniels has alleged that her husband, Ned Nwoko, has filed for full custody of their children amid their ongoing marital crisis.
The actress made the claim in a recent Instagram post, where she shared a video of herself speaking emotionally about her children and the pain of being separated from them. According to Daniels, although many people believe she is coping well, the reality has been overwhelming as a mother.
The couple’s private dispute became public in October after a viral video showed Daniels in tears while accusing Nwoko of domestic violence. The lawmaker responded by alleging that his wife was battling drug and alcohol addiction. Daniels later admitted to using hard drugs but accused Nwoko of deliberately facilitating her addiction as a means of control and manipulation.
In her latest post, Daniels explained that her decision to initially remain silent was deliberate, as she did not want the situation to define or imprison her. She accused Nwoko of intentionally drawing public attention to their children, describing the move as calculated and harmful.
She said no mother could be at peace while separated from her children and questioned the motives behind repeatedly exposing them to public scrutiny, especially given her husband’s experience as a public figure.
Daniels further disclosed that she has not spoken to her children since mid-November. She alleged that Nwoko dismissed her nannies and pressured them into making false statements accusing her of violence and alcohol abuse, all in the presence of the children. Despite already having custody of the children, she claimed he went ahead to file for full custody.
Expressing disbelief at the situation, the actress said she misses being a mother to her children and insisted that she would fight to reunite with them. She maintained that her age does not diminish her commitment to motherhood and vowed that she would see her children again.
The actress recently revealed that she would not consider remarrying, stating that the institution of marriage had traumatised her. Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the Senate, has also publicly stated that he does not want Regina Daniels to return to their home.
