Marriage Counsellor Who Advised Women to Stay With Cheating Husbands Ends Her Own Marriage After Three-Year Separation

Ghanaian pastor Apostle Solomon Oduro, founder of Solomon Oduro Ministries, has officially announced the dissolution of his marriage to renowned relationship counsellor Rev. Charlotte Oduro. The announcement comes three years after their separation and follows a traditional divorce finalized last year.

Rev. Charlotte Oduro gained public attention in 2022 when she advised women to respond to their husbands’ infidelity with kindness rather than confrontation. Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM, she urged wives not to leave their cheating husbands but instead welcome them home with good food and intimacy. While acknowledging that cheating was wrong, she emphasized the importance of understanding and patience in relationships.

In a statement released on Monday, February 10, 2025, Apostle Oduro explained that the decision to end the marriage was reached after extensive prayer, discussion, and careful consideration. He cited irreconcilable differences as the primary reason for the divorce. As a public figure and spiritual leader, he said he felt responsible for formally addressing the matter to prevent misinformation and unnecessary controversy.

Apostle Oduro called for understanding and support from the public, urging well-wishers and the Christian community to keep both him and Rev. Charlotte Oduro in their prayers. He concluded his statement with a message of peace, expressing hope for a smooth transition for both parties.
