Magodo: Sanwo-Olu agrees to give residents 549 plots.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu the Governor of Lagos State has promised to provide 549 plots of land for Shangisha Landlords Association as compensation to end land dispute with the Magodo Residents Association

This was sequel to the agreement reached by all parties after a meeting presided over by the State Governor held on Wednesday.

You would recall that the Supreme court in a judgement delivered on February 10, 2012 had mandated Lagos State government to give back 549 plots to the original landowners of the area before it was “fraudulently” acquired over 38 years ago.
