Kwam3: Enugu Air Faces Backlash After Passenger Forcibly Removed from Plane

Enugu Air is facing public scrutiny after a viral video showed airline officials forcibly removing a passenger from one of its flights. The footage, shared on social media by user @ChuksEricE, captured the chaotic moment as officials dragged a male passenger off the plane, while a background voice could be heard saying, “Yes, yes, go down.”

The reason for the removal has not been made public, and both the airline and the passenger involved have so far remained silent on the matter. The lack of explanation has fueled speculation online, with many demanding answers from the state-owned carrier.

This latest scuffle has drawn parallels with other recent high-profile clashes in Nigeria’s aviation sector, including Comfort Emmanson’s confrontation with Ibom Air crew and Fuji music legend King Wasiu Ayinde’s reported dispute with ValueJet Airlines at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

As the video continues to spread, calls are mounting for Enugu Air to address the situation and reassure passengers about their rights and safety. The airline’s response is expected to be closely monitored by the public as well as aviation regulators.
