Kaduna-Abuja Train Derails at Jere
A train traveling from Kaduna to Abuja derailed near Jere on Sunday morning, halting its journey midway to the nation’s capital.
The train, which left Kaduna at approximately 8:05 am, was carrying dozens of passengers when it derailed about an hour into the trip. The derailment involved three carriages coming off the tracks.
Repair efforts are currently underway, with the incident occurring in a mountainous area. Security personnel, including soldiers and police officers, are on site to ensure the safety and security of the passengers.
