JUST IN: Valentine Ozigbo Loses Court Case Against APC, Ukachukwu
The Federal High Court sitting in Awka has dismissed the case filed by Valentine Ozigbo challenging the outcome of the APC Anambra governorship primary.
In a judgment delivered today, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Justice Evelyn Anyadike ruled in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its declared candidate, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo).
Ozigbo, who scored 62 votes in the April 5 primary, had approached the court seeking to nullify the result, arguing that the process was marred by irregularities and that Ukachukwu was not a registered member of the APC at the time of the election.
The court, however, upheld the legitimacy of the primary and the candidacy of Ukachukwu, effectively validating his emergence as the party’s flagbearer.
