JUST IN: Supreme Court Rejects PDP’s Appeal, Upholds Gov Inuwa’s Election Victory
The Supreme Court today delivered a unanimous judgment dismissing the appeal lodged by Jibrin Barde, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Gombe State. Barde had contested the election victory of Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State.
The panel of justices ruled that the appeal lacked merit, deeming it unnecessary and affirming Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s electoral triumph.
