JUST IN: Presidency Announces Sack of Top Presidential Aide
The Presidency has announced the dismissal of Fegho John Umunubo, Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy in the Office of the Vice President. His removal from office takes immediate effect.
The announcement was made on Monday in a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Presidency, Abiodun Oladunjoye.
The statement formally notified stakeholders in the digital and creative economy both within and outside the country, as well as the general public, of Umunubo’s disengagement. It stressed that he no longer represents the Tinubu administration in any capacity and warned that anyone who continues to engage with him in the name of the government does so at their own risk.
The Presidency further urged all stakeholders and constituents of the sector to take note of the development and act accordingly.
