JUST IN: PEPC to Decide Fate of Tinubu, Atiku,Obi on Wednesday
In a highly anticipated development, the Presidential Election Petition Court has set Wednesday, September 6, 2023, as the date for the long-awaited judgment in the petitions filed by the PDP and Atiku Abubakar, as well as the Labour Party and Peter Obi.
The notice of this crucial judgment was officially communicated to AIT by the Secretary of the Presidential Election Petition Court on Monday.
Both Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar have fervently challenged INEC’s declaration of Bola Tinubu of the APC as President. Their primary arguments revolve around allegations of corrupt practices during the election and questions concerning Tinubu’s eligibility to contest.
Additionally, the court is expected to deliver its judgment on the petition filed by the Allied People’s Movement (APM).
