JUST IN: EFCC Secures Arrest Warrant for Ex-Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello
A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) an arrest warrant for former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello. The warrant was issued ahead of Bello’s scheduled arraignment on Thursday, as requested by the EFCC.
However, a Kogi State High Court has issued a conflicting ruling, which prohibits the EFCC from arresting, detaining, or prosecuting the ex-governor.
