JUST IN: Drunk Tanker Driver Crashes into 10 Vehicles, Kills One
In a tragic accident early Sunday morning, a fuel tanker crashed into 10 vehicles at Maryland, Lagos, resulting in one fatality. The incident happened near Kresta Laurel Plaza, with eyewitnesses attributing the cause to reckless driving by the tanker operator, who was allegedly intoxicated and speeding.
According to onlookers, the driver seemed unaware of the damage he caused as the tanker plowed through multiple vehicles. One of the victims, attempting to escape the oncoming danger, tragically lost his life after jumping out of his car, only to be crushed by the tanker.
“The man tried to avoid being hit, but the tanker ran over him, killing him instantly,” an eyewitness recounted.
Police have since arrived at the scene to manage the situation and begin an investigation.
Further details are expected as the story develops.
