JUST IN: Chidimma Adetshina Named Miss Universe Nigeria 2024
23-year-old model, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina, who was forced to withdraw from the South African beauty pageant, Miss Universe South Africa, has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
Adetshina, who represented Taraba State, is a law student who withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 due to xenophobic backlash over her nationality.
Adetshina’s win in the keenly contested competition was revealed in a post on X by Africa Fact Zone on Saturday night.
The caption reads: “Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina has emerged as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.”
According to Pop Pulse: “She’ll be representing Nigeria at the Miss Universe grand finale in Mexico this November. Congratulations, Chidimma.”
