Jos: Court Grants Bail to Man Accused of Organ Harvesting
The Jos Magistrate Court, situated at the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB), has made the decision to grant bail to Noah Kekere, the man at the center of a horrifying organ harvesting case, and his alleged accomplices.
Noah Kekere, along with two others, found themselves in the clutches of the law after being accused of carrying out a gruesome act – the illegal removal of kidneys from two individuals at the Murna Clinic and Maternity, which is located in the Yanshanu community area of Jos North Local Government Area in the state.
In a courtroom proceeding held on Tuesday, Chief Magistrate Joseph Chollom rendered his verdict, issuing conditional bail to the accused parties. Notably, these conditions include the provision of two individuals who can vouch for their credibility and a genuine Certificate of Occupancy (C of O). Additionally, a traditional ruler was involved in the process.
This case has captured the attention of the community and serves as a stark reminder of the need for justice and accountability in the face of such heinous allegations. As the legal process unfolds, more details are likely to emerge, shedding light on this disturbing incident.
