“I’ve Documented Over 200 Death Threats Since Peter Obi’s Allegations” – Felix Morka
Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has alleged that he has received over 200 death threats following remarks he made about Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Speaking during an appearance on Arise Television, Morka revealed that the threats began after Obi accused him of making statements that endangered the Labour Party candidate’s life.
“Peter Obi’s allegations that my words in that interview threatened his life have triggered serious consequences,” Morka said. “As of now, I have documented 400 threats, about 200 of which are explicit death threats. These are written threats that I will be submitting to law enforcement agencies. In these messages, individuals have detailed how they plan to harm me—threatening to shoot me, behead me, and carry out other gruesome acts.”
The controversy stemmed from a previous interview in which Morka said, “Obi has crossed the line so many times” and that “whatever he has coming to him, he should manage it.” Obi claimed this comment incited threats against his life and those around him.
In his defense, Morka clarified that his remarks were in response to questions about Obi being labeled a “voodoo economist” and a “prophet of doom.” He maintained that the statement had been misinterpreted and led to undue escalation.
Morka affirmed that the threats would be reported to law enforcement to ensure proper investigation and accountability.
