International Women’s Day: Let’s create opportunities and empowerment for our Women – Primate Ositelu
The Primate of the Church of the Lord Worldwide, His Holiness Most Rev Dr Rufus Okikiola Olubiyi Ositelu has joined many leaders worldwide to extol the virtues of women as the world celebrates International Women’s Day today March 8.
In a message tagged “2022- Break the Bias” (Gender Equality), Primate Ositelu celebrated all hardworking, resourceful, loving, peaceful, illustrious and wonderfully made women all over the world.
In a message monitored on his Facebook page, the Primate, advised all and sundry to continue to work towards creating opportunities and empowerment for women.
His message read: “International Women’s Day is observed annually on March 8, it’s a day set aside to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all over the world.”
“The day also marks a call to gender equality.”
“On behalf of THE CHURCH OF THE LORD Worldwide and my humble self I celebrate all our hardworking, resourceful, loving, peaceful, illustrious and wonderfully made women all over the world.”
“I wish you all a wonderful, healthy and beautiful Women’s Day!”
“I join the rest of the world to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, with the theme: “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.
“Let us continue to work towards creating opportunities and empowerment for our women.
