India Police Detain Nigerian Woman with Over N411 Million in Illegal Narcotics

The Banaskantha police in Gujarat, India, made a significant drug bust, detaining Nwakaego Paul, a Nigerian resident in Delhi, with a substantial quantity of methamphetamine valued at Rs 4.26 crore. Paul was apprehended while en route to Mumbai, carrying the contraband. The interception occurred during a late-night stop of a private luxury bus, acting on a tip-off. The police found 4.26kg of methamphetamine in her possession and are investigating her sources and the drugs’ origin. Reports indicate that Paul arrived in India in 2021 and had been staying in Delhi. The investigation is ongoing to uncover further details.
