Impunity: Orji Uzor Kalu who has refused to appear before a Lagos High Court for N7.65bn Fraud spotted at APC rally with Buhari.

The trial of Orji Uzor Kalu for N7.65b fraud was stalled in Lagos because Orji Kalu was absent from trial. The judge Mohammed Idris also admitted that HE HAS NOT RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS TO PROCEED WITH THE CASE. The court also declared that he had also disobeyed the order of the court to submit his travel documents.
The judge further observed that Kalu had disobeyed the order of the court by not presenting himself to the court or EFCC even though he was seen at a rally in Umahia.
Kalu was sighted accompanying Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari who has insisted severally thaf he is fighting corruption to a rally in Umahia Abia state.
Kalu was Abia governor from 1999-2007.
