In a video shared on social media, Okose declared that any man who has never bathed with his wife in the same bathroom at least ten times a year is “a useless husband.”

He went on to describe the act as a deeply intimate ritual, suggesting that it holds both spiritual significance and emotional power. “Do you know the power that transits from a woman’s body into your body as a man when you take baths together?” he asked. “Do you understand the spiritual covenant that is released on the man when you take sponge to scrub the body of your wife, scrub her private parts, bathe her like a child, treat her like your daughter—as she does the same to you? Just that joy alone that comes out of her, you can’t fail as a man.”
