Hannan, daughter of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has shared a heartfelt message recounting her father’s final moments. In a post shared on social media, she revealed that she gave her father a final kiss shortly before he passed away on Sunday at a clinic in London, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

The former president was laid to rest on Tuesday in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State. Mourning her father’s death, Hannan expressed deep sorrow over his passing and reflected on the impact he had on her life.

“The pain of your absence is immense, but I’m finding strength in the love you gave me,” she wrote, alongside a photo showing her shaking hands with the late leader. “You’re the reason I know what unconditional love feels like. I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to give you the final kiss. Alhamdulillah.”
