“I Only Sat on His Lap, We Didn’t Do Anything” – Ijoba Lande’s Estranged Wife Breaks Silence

Darasimi, estranged wife of popular comedian Ganiu Morufu, better known as Ijoba Lande, has spoken publicly for the first time since allegations of infidelity surfaced against her. In a viral interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTok personalities, Darasimi addressed claims made by her husband, insisting there was no sexual encounter between her and actor Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee.

According to her, the much-talked-about incident occurred during a “Truth or Dare” game initiated by her friend, Marygold, at Baba Tee’s home in July 2024. Darasimi recounted that Baba Tee was unaware she was Lande’s wife when they arrived, and that the controversial moment stemmed from an alcohol-fueled game. “Marygold dared Baba Tee to give me a doggy style. He went to get a condom, but I told him I wouldn’t allow it. I only sat on his lap, nothing happened,” she said, emphasizing that no sexual activity took place.

Her comments come after Ijoba Lande publicly accused her of cheating with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, naming Baba Tee among them in a viral interview and Instagram post. However, Darasimi denied ever being unfaithful during their marriage and challenged Lande to provide proof to support his claims. She also hinted that their separation was due to personal reasons unrelated to infidelity.

Meanwhile, Baba Tee has admitted to having a brief sexual relationship with Darasimi, which he described as a drunken mistake during the same “Truth or Dare” game. The 45-year-old actor later issued a public apology to Lande via Facebook, writing, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande… I fear women.”
