“I Once Promised a Lady a House in Exchange for S€x But Didn’t Deliver” – Orezi

Nigerian singer Orezi has stirred conversation online after revealing he once promised a woman a house in exchange for sex but failed to fulfil the promise. The singer made the confession during a recent interview with Echo Room, while commenting on the trending saga involving Burna Boy and socialite Sophia Egbueje.

Orezi distanced himself from what he called the “Lamborghini boys,” referencing the alleged N300 million luxury gift in the Burna Boy situation. He stated that he has never made such extravagant promises. “Am I crazy?” he quipped.

He admitted that he once told a woman he would buy her a house but never followed through. The singer questioned why he should have gone through with such a gesture, highlighting what he sees as a double standard in relationships. “Ladies also promise to be faithful to one partner and they often fail,” he said, suggesting that both genders are guilty of not keeping promises. He concluded with a cynical laugh, saying, “It’s a dog eat dog world.”
