“I Know Where APC’s Dead Body Is Buried” – El-Rufai Vows to Retire Tinubu in 2027
Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has declared that he and other opposition leaders have the political strength to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Channels Television on Sunday, El-Rufai said his role in the formation of the APC gives him insider knowledge of how to dismantle the ruling party.
“We formed the APC; we know where the dead body is buried. Some of them, like Atiku, know where the PDP’s dead body is buried,” he said. “Together we can face the APC. We don’t need strangers from nowhere to challenge the ruling party.”
El-Rufai criticized Tinubu’s administration, arguing that the economy and security situation have worsened under his leadership.
His remarks come as he, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Rivers governor Rotimi Amaechi, and other political figures throw their weight behind the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in a bid to form a coalition strong enough to challenge APC in 2027.
