I have forgiven those who betrayed me, says Fayose
A Nigerian politician and former Governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose, has declared that he has forgiven all those who could have betrayed him during his political journey as he clocks 60.
This comment was made by the former Governor while speaking on a radio program honoring his birthday in the state capital, Ado Ekiti.
Fayose thanked God for all his achievements in the last 60 years, especially all he was able to do during his tenure as Ekiti Governor.
He encouraged all politicians to embark on works that would make people remember them, even after they leave their position.
Fayose revealed that his most memorable day was when he was impeached from office as Governor, as the incident made him develop high blood pressure and he spent months asking God what went wrong.
When answering a question about the rationale behind the stomach infrastructure program, he explained that Covid-19 palliatives were regarded as stomach infrastructure, even when he was still in office as Governor.
Fayose revealed that he plans to be the president of Nigeria one day, and how that would happen would be left entirely to God.
