I deal in drugs to finance my 8 wives and 50 children – 96 year old drug kingpin
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 96-year-old retired soldier for allegedly dealing in illicit drugs.
The Spokesman of NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, made this known while speaking to Journalists.
He said the suspect, identified as Pa Joseph Owherhi, was arrested in his house in Suleja LGA of Niger state.
The NDLEA Spokesman said, Pa Joseph Owherhi was arrested in his house at Rafin Sanyi area of Suleja on Saturday, 21st August, 2021 with three kilograms of skunk based on credible intelligence.
Babafemi said the suspect claimed he has eight wives and fifty children and that has he been living on the illicit trade since he retired from the military in 1982.
Buba Marwa, NDLEA chairman, commended the operatives for their efforts, and “charged them and their counterparts across the country not to rest on their oars in the ongoing offensive action against all drug cartels in Nigeria”.
