“I Appreciate Your Views”: Trump Writes to Self-Styled Biafra ‘Deputy Prime Minister’
Ngozi Orabueze, who identifies as the deputy prime minister and chief of staff of the United States of Biafra (USB), has shared a response she received from the White House, bearing the autopen signature of President Donald Trump.
Orabueze posted the letter on social media platform X on Tuesday. The document follows the format of a standard government form letter, which is typically used for mass correspondence.
The White House letter thanks Orabueze for taking the time to write and notes that her views are valued. It also directs recipients to the official White House website for information on the administration’s policies and includes well wishes from Melania Trump.
The letter reads in part:
“Thank you for your letter. I appreciate you taking the time to share your views and concerns with me. Your thoughts are important, and I value the opportunity to hear from citizens like you. As we work to make America great again, your input helps guide our efforts. Melania joins me in sending our best wishes to you and your family.”
