“I Am Open to Accepting a Position in Tinubu’s Government,” Affirms Daniel Bwala
Daniel Bwala, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former spokesman of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council, has expressed his openness to accepting a position in President Bola Tinubu’s government.
Bwala’s visit to President Tinubu in Aso Rock has stirred controversy and faced criticisms from various quarters. Despite the backlash, he remains steadfast in his stance, asserting that he would appreciate any position offered by the president if it aligns with contributing to the development of Tinubu’s agenda.
During an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Bwala stated, “If the president makes an offer of a position that I see will contribute to the development of his agenda because I say I will support his agenda, I will more than anything else, appreciate it.”
Emphasizing his commitment to supporting Tinubu’s goals, Bwala drew a distinction between those seeking appointments merely for personal gain and those, like himself, who prioritize contributing value to the administration, whether appointed or not.
Addressing speculations about promises made, Bwala clarified, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not promised me anything,” highlighting that his decision to engage with the president was based on his belief in the value he can bring to the table.
This revelation comes amid ongoing political discussions and speculations about alliances and alignments ahead of the next political cycle.
