How a scarred woman was healed after following me to my hotel room — Adeboye

Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has recounted a healing experience he said occurred during one of his international ministry engagements.

Adeboye shared the testimony while preaching at the recent Holy Ghost Convention held at the Redemption Camp, Lagos. The sermon, titled *“Brand-New Beginning,”* focused on what he described as God’s ability to restore lives completely—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

To explain his message, the cleric referred to biblical examples, including the healing of Naaman, before narrating a personal encounter with a woman who sought deliverance while he was ministering abroad.

According to Adeboye, the woman followed him to his hotel after the programme, an action he said left him confused. He explained that once inside the room, the woman revealed scars covering her body, which he described as severe and disturbing.

He said he prayed intensely, calling on God to intervene in her situation. Adeboye added that by the time the woman was about to leave, the scars had disappeared.

The RCCG leader said the experience reinforced his belief in divine healing and restoration. He concluded the account with prayers for the congregation, asking that every negative influence in their lives be removed.
