Harrysong Faces Possible Police Detention by Monday, See Why
Nigerian music sensation, Harrysong, is facing potential detention by the Lagos Police on Monday following allegations of defamation against a prominent Nigerian music star.
Sources close to the matter suggest that the police have been conducting an investigation into cyberstalking and the dissemination of defamatory content, with Harrysong’s name being prominently involved.
The alleged defamation case is believed to be connected to a well-known music star who was previously associated with Harrysong.
In an official communication obtained by SK Blog and signed by the Assistant Director of the Nigeria Police Force, National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCCC), Lagos Annex, Harrysong was requested to appear before the Center on May 29, 2024, for questioning related to the ongoing investigation.
When reached for comment, Harrysong confirmed receipt of the invitation and expressed his willingness to comply with the police’s request for an interview.
“I have received the invitation letter and I will be attending the interview as requested,” Harrysong stated.
While the specific allegations against Harrysong remain undisclosed at this time, sources familiar with the investigation suggest that his potential detention on Monday is imminent.
The rift between Harrysong and the purported victim of defamation, a fellow music star, has been widely publicized in the past, hinting at a possible connection to the ongoing probe.
The police authorities have yet to provide official details regarding the case, but insiders indicate that the investigation is progressing and could result in charges against Harrysong if evidence of defamation is substantiated.
