Gunmen Kidnap Three in Innoson Showroom as Police Intensify Efforts to Rescue Victims
Gunmen abducted three individuals from the Innoson motorcycle showroom on Owerri Road, Nnewi, sparking an intensified manhunt by the Anambra State Police Command.
Police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the incident, which occurred at approximately 6:45 pm on November 26, 2024. In a statement, Ikenga assured the public that joint security forces are actively working to ensure the safe rescue of the victims and the apprehension of the perpetrators.
“The Anambra Joint Security Forces are on the offensive for the possible rescue of the abducted victims and the arrest of the abductors,” Ikenga said. He added that the Command is leveraging information gathered at the scene to advance the investigation and recovery operations.
The police have called on residents to provide any information that could aid in the investigation. Reports can be made at the Command headquarters in Awka, the nearest police station, or through the emergency hotline 112 or 07039194332 for immediate assistance.
The Command reiterated its commitment to the safety of the public and assured residents of its resolve to bring the perpetrators to justice.
