(Full List) President Tinubu Appoints New Directors of TCN
President Bola Tinubu has greenlit the appointment of four seasoned Nigerian professionals as executive directors of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). This decision, set to unfold over a renewable four-year term, was officially announced through a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
The newly appointed executive directors are:
Engineer Oluwagbenga E.A. Ajiboye — Executive Director, Transmission Service Provider
Engineer Nafisatu Asabe Ali — Executive Director, Independent System Operations
Ochije Ogini Chukwuka — Executive Director, Finance & Accounts
Abiodun Foluso Afolabi — Executive Director, Human Resources & Corporate Services
President Tinubu emphasizes his expectation that these appointees, chosen for their expertise, qualifications, character, and commitment, will wholeheartedly contribute to the realization of his administration’s ambitious energy goals. The President anticipates not only innovation but also a consistent delivery of excellent service to the Nigerian people.
