President Bola Tinubu has greenlit the appointment of four seasoned Nigerian professionals as executive directors of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). This decision, set to unfold over a renewable four-year term, was officially announced through a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

The newly appointed executive directors are:

Engineer Oluwagbenga E.A. Ajiboye — Executive Director, Transmission Service Provider

Engineer Nafisatu Asabe Ali — Executive Director, Independent System Operations

Ochije Ogini Chukwuka — Executive Director, Finance & Accounts

Abiodun Foluso Afolabi — Executive Director, Human Resources & Corporate Services

President Tinubu emphasizes his expectation that these appointees, chosen for their expertise, qualifications, character, and commitment, will wholeheartedly contribute to the realization of his administration’s ambitious energy goals.
