FULL LIST: Army Releases Images, Names of Officers Killed in Delta Community
In the aftermath of a tragic attack in Delta State, the Defence Headquarters has unveiled the names of the 17 military personnel who lost their lives during a peace mission in the community of Okuama, situated in the Ughelli South Local Government Area.
The fallen heroes, including the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 12 other personnel, were ambushed last week in a devastating assault.
In a solemn tribute, the Nigerian Army, via its official handle, shared a heartfelt message alongside a photo collage of the deceased, honoring their sacrifice with the words, “REST IN PEACE OUR FALLEN HEROES.”
The Defence Headquarters, in a statement, revealed the identities of the brave souls who perished in the line of duty:
