Ibrahim Geidam of Yobe East senatorial district has sponsored a bill for the establishment of a commission to handle the release of repentant terrorists. The bill was read for the first time on the floor of the Senate Today.
This proposal has received scathing criticism even from elders in the North east region and raise grave concerns about possible consequences for our military deployed to those areas and citizens affected by terror in the country.
