Former Aviation Minister Osita Chidoka Urges Young People to Have More Children, Gives Reasons
Former Aviation Minister Osita Chidoka has called on young people to prioritize having more children, emphasizing the value of family and the long-term benefits of increased manpower.
In a message shared alongside a photo with his brother, Chidoka reflected on the importance of siblings, noting that they make life’s challenges more manageable. He urged the middle class to reconsider their approach to family planning, arguing that a shift towards having fewer children is driven by selfishness and unsustainable concerns over costs.
Chidoka expressed concerns about the implications of declining fertility rates, warning of a potential imbalance between trained and untrained manpower in the future. He highlighted the need for more skilled individuals to contribute to societal growth.
“Siblings make life’s challenges easier to manage. I speak as a witness,” Chidoka stated. “The middle class is increasingly becoming more selfish, reducing fertility to unsustainable levels and hiding under costs. We need more trained manpower and should not allow the growing skewing of untrained manpower.”
