Fire guts Bank in Victoria Island, Lagos
A branch of Access Bank at Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State has been gutted by fire on Wednesday
It was reported that a petrol tanker had exploded beside the bank premises.
The incidence was confirmed via Twitter by The Federal Fire Service.
The Tweet read : “Men of the Federal Fire Service are already at the scene ( ADEMOLA ADETOKUNBO, VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA.) Where a Petrol tanker is currently on fire, close to an access bank branch. Please take alternative routes”.
It further stated that “Our men are on the ground, trying to combat the inferno. Thanks for notifying us,”
