Finally, INEC Begins Collation of Edo Governorship Election Results
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially commenced the collation of results for the highly anticipated Edo State governorship election. The process is being overseen by top electoral officials, including Prof. Rhoda Gumus, INEC National Commissioner; Dr. Anugbum Omuoha, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC); and Prof. Faruk Adams Kuta, the State Returning Officer.
In his opening remarks at the collation center, Dr. Omuoha reassured the public of INEC’s commitment to a transparent and fair electoral process. He emphasized that the commission remains dedicated to ensuring that the will of the Edo people is accurately reflected in the final outcome. He further called for patience and understanding as the collation process unfolds.
