FG in Swap deal with bandits: Kidnapped Students for Arrested Men
The Federal Government has gone into negotiations with some persons with the possibility of having a swap bargain with the armed bandits who were reported to have kidnapped some students and workers in Government Science College, Kagara in Niger State.
In a bid to secure the release of 27 students and 15 workers of the school, there are reports that some officials of Niger and Zamfara state governments have met some bandits at Dutsin Magaji of Kotonkoro Forest.
The Kotonkoro forest is said to connect the four states of Kebbi, Zamfara, Niger and Kaduna.
Reports also have it that the group of bandits responsible for the abduction wanted their gang members in custody of security agencies released as a swap deal to free the kidnapped students and staff.
You would recall that bandits in military uniform had stormed Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State, to kidnap some students and staff, they were also reported to have killed a student who had raised an alarm.
