Enugu Native Doctor Arrested While Trying to Flee After Kidnapped Victims Found Buried in His Compound
An Enugu native doctor, High Chief Levi Onyeka Obu, also known as “Ezeani” and “E-Dey-Play-E-Dey-Show,” has been arrested while attempting to flee Nigeria. The arrest followed the discovery of bodies of kidnapped victims buried in his compound located in Unojo, Umumba Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu Local Government Area. Among the victims was a heavily pregnant woman, and a 13-year-old girl was rescued alive from the site.
The Nigerian Immigration Service apprehended Ezeani at a land border as he tried to leave the country. He had been declared wanted after fleeing the scene following the discovery of the bodies. A photograph circulating on social media shows the suspect in handcuffs, confirming his capture. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
