#EndSars: Nigerian Youths angry with Tinubu over his “I am ready to get dirty” statement
Nigerian Youths have once again gone on Twitter with the #EndSars in a call for an end to bad governance in Nigeria.
The Youths through the use of the #EndSARS are sensitising each other on the need to get fully involved in the next elections.
They noted that social media comments are not enough to stop power-thirsty politicians from getting into positions of power, they hence advised each other on the need to get the Permanent Voters Card.
The renewed vigour with the EndSars harshtag in not unconnected with the statement of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who recently during a visit to Dr Lekan Balogun, the Olubadan designate, in Ibadan said he was ready to get dirty to secure the presidential seat in 2023.
His statement in part read, “No amount of intimidation can stop me. I am ready to get dirty. I am out to become President of Nigeria. We are at the crossroads.”
This Youth using the #EndSars on Twitter had kicked against the declaration of the APC National Leader.
To them politicians sponsor it, To us is remembrance, #EndSARS
