#EndBadGovernance Protest: Osun Youths Take to the Streets, Urge Reinstatement of Fuel Subsidy

A large number of youths took to the streets of Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on Tuesday, protesting against the removal of fuel subsidies, which they blame for the worsening economic situation in Nigeria.

The demonstrators urged President Bola Tinubu to reverse the decision, citing the skyrocketing cost of living, particularly rising fuel and food prices. The protesters assembled at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Old Garage before marching through major areas of the city, including Oke-Fia, Dada Estate, and Dele Yes Sir, making their way along Oba Adesoji Aderemi Way toward Ogo-Oluwa, eventually converging at the Olaiya flyover.

Chanting solidarity songs, the protesters voiced their frustrations while being closely monitored by security personnel, who ensured the march remained peaceful.
