Emir of Buhari’s home state of Katsina suspends Durbar says Salah celebrations will be low key due to insecurity
The Emir of president Buhari’s home state Katsina State, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman GFR, has announced that Salah celebrations this year will be low key.
This was made known in a letter signed by the secretary of the Katsina Emirate, Alhaji Bello M. Ifo.
Part of the letter which was written in Hausa

read:
“In view of the unfortunate event that occurred resulting in lost of lives, residents of Gunduma Batsarari Dan-musa, Kankaro etc won’t be able to celebrate durba i.e. horse riding but will go for prayers at the mosque.”
