Egyptian National Dies After Collapsing at Abuja Hotel
An Egyptian national has been confirmed dead after collapsing at a hotel in Abuja on Friday night.
The deceased, identified as 56-year-old Mohammed Saleh, reportedly slumped while having dinner with three others at the Abuja Intercontinental Hotel in Wuse Zone 4. According to sources, the incident occurred on September 5, 2025.
The hotel’s Security Supervisor, Francis Yusuf, immediately reported the case to the Wuse Police Division at about 9:24 p.m. Efforts were made to save Saleh’s life as he was rushed to Kings Care Hospital, Wuse Zone 4, before being referred to Wuse District Hospital. However, he was later confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
The body has been deposited at the hospital morgue pending an autopsy.
