Edo Poll: Unperturbed Sanwo-Olu Displays Football Skills as He Hosts FC Barcelona Women Star, Oshoala
Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu on Saturday hosted FC Barcelona Women star, Asisat Oshoala at the State House, Marina.
Sanwo-olu, who was seen in pictures displaying his football skills in a tweet he made late Saturday about the visit via his official Twitter account, pledged to support the foundation of the Barcelona star.
The Governor appeared to be unperturbed by the fate of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Edo state. He was presented with a customized FC Barcelona football shirt by Oshoala.
Former Governor of the state, Bola Tinubu, Sanwo-olu’s godfather, had days before the election in a video broadcast described himself as the father of all democrats in the country and urged Edo electorate to vote for the APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Saturday’s poll.
