Court sacks Taraba APC Governorship Candidate
A Federal High Court sitting in Jalingo has nullified the Taraba governorship primary election that gave the ticket to Emmanuel Bwacha as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 election.
You would recall that, as a result of the outcome of the primaries, an aggrieved aspirant, David Kente, had dragged the party and its candidate to court.
Justice Simon Akpah Amobeda in his ruling ordered that a fresh primary election should be conducted within 14 days.
He also ordered Emmanuel Bwacha to stop parading himself as the governorship candidate of the APC.
